A Buzz in the Land

Written May 28, 2023 as we set off for Ulaanbaatar Mongolia.

Sitting at the airport awaiting a flight to Korea and then to Mongolia.  We have a small group of eager participants who will be sitting with Shamans in this nomadic country exploring the voice of the Ancestors.  Earlier this week Bruce and I found ourselves offering perspectives on Shamanism, Spirituality and Divination to health and behavioral health professionals.  There is a call in the land!  Lodges are filled, audiences are in rapt attention to what is being shared, and elders tell me they are busier than usual helping folks.

What’s happening? 

 Is there a newfound response to the crazy in the world that begs to find a place of solace, and perspective?  Is there a hunger for something mythical and magical that will bring us to a deeper lived experience?  Are folks tuning into the perspective that there is a calling to stand in power?

 Malidoma often reminded us that that time is at hand in which the other world is reaching out to guide us back to our connections to the earth, nature and our ancestors ultimately leading us back to each other in more loving connective ways.

 Bruce and I have reached a place in our journey and with the urging of our elders have been working assertively to create offerings for Inspirit such as these trips to Mongolia and Peru not to mention our various retreat immersive, sweat lodges and various circles and ceremonies.  We continue to consult and work closely with our elders to ensure your experiences are rich and abundant in what Spirt can offer.
