Preparatory one-day retreat: 2022 Utah Dance for All People
The past two years have been an extraordinary opportunity for us to explore how we can dance differently in our lives. We have danced in our homes, in small circles, and carefully beside one another in ceremony. Our relationship with our spiritual selves, our ancestors, our health and our communities, have shape-shifted in ways that we never would have imagined. As we enter yet another year, and begin our path toward stepping into the Naraya in it’s traditional form, the time has come for us to gather and consider what might be different for us since the last time we held hands around the tree to sing, dance and pray. Because we are different now, how can we show up differently for ourselves and spirit in ceremony? How can we be more present with our intentions and what we seek to call in for ourselves and our loved ones? What wounds are we carrying with us that can be released and transmuted by our fierce and prayerful presence?
I invite you to join us a one day retreat full of community, connection and ceremony where we will collaborate with one another to form the vision for the 2022 Utah Dance for All People. This visioning is an essential first step on our collective path to the powerful three day ceremony in May. This vision will be part of an invitation to the broader Naraya community, as well as inform all planning and preparations leading up to the ceremony itself. Its creation is strengthened by community involvement, and helps participants to create powerful and meaningful intentions for the dance!
