Join us for an intimate group adventure in beautiful Central Utah this fall as we undergo a multi-day workshop exploring the meaning of “masculinity” in today’s culture. Together we’ll learn how to give the term its healthiest and best possible meaning.
Exploring Sacred Masculinity
The social constructs of masculinity are often confusing and counter intuitive to the authentic expression of self. Our world promotes and suggest a certain story of what it means to “Be a Man.” Being a man is tough in these transitioning times and many narratives are competing for attention. We are a generation that is giving voice to a new male narrative, giving expression to the liberation of ALL aspects of who we are.
What is sacred masculinity?
Using shamanic rituals and tools as well as group processes we will integrate the newly found discoveries, allowing for more authentic expressions around masculinity. In exploring the new story we will find brotherhood and community as we give rise to the authentic expression of self.
We will utilize sacred rituals such as sweat lodge, bon fires, offerings to ancestors as well as give voice not only to our challenges but our visions and anticipations of how we intend to show up in our lives, families and relationships.
Sweat Lodge
We will arrive on Thursday December 1, 2022 for lunch and a opening circle (ritual) and end on Sunday afternoon. Our home will be a beautiful retreat center nestled in a cedar forest in Spring city Utah. Cost includes the retreat, supplies, food and lodging.
Whose Invited: We are calling all who identify as men regardless of gender identity or sexual orientation. Masculinity comes in many forms and all expressions allow us to explore all our options in this journey of finding the sacred.
